DeLaSalle takes down WR at Mike Miller Classic

Lady Tiger basketball season underway

Lady Tigers take 2nd at WGP Tourney

The White River Middle School girls basketball team travelled to Wall for the 2012 Western Great Plains Conference Tournament on December 1, concluding a busy week of play. The Lady Tigers earned a 2nd place finish with strong play from a number of athletes.

Gillen, Krogman named to All-State team

The South Dakota Football Coaches Association has announced the 2012 9AA All-State Football Team. White River had two players honored with inclusion on this year’s team. 

Seniors Matt Gillen and Wyatt Krogman were both named to the 9AA first team. Gillen was named All-State center, Krogman was named to the All-State team as special teams

Alumni games held over Thanksgiving weekend

The second annual WRHS Alumni Games were held again the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 23. This year, a women’s volleyball game was contested and a men’s basketball game came after.

Lady Tigers named to WGP All-Conf. team

The 2012 Western Great Plains All-Conference volleyball teams have been announced. White River had two players earning All-Conference honors, Gabbie Waln and Ashlyn Plooster. Three Lady Tigers were named Honorable Mention: Shelley Wilcox, Raven Whiting, and Dusti Good Shield. The teams are selected by member coaches.

District volleyball action: Five set thriller for Lady Tigers

District 13B volleyball action got underway Tuesday, October 30 in Murdo, with semi-final action following a play-in game that featured Lyman versus Crazy Horse. Kadoka and Jones County played in the first semi-final (JC won – 25-21, 25-9, 25-18) before the Lady Tigers of White River took to the floor.
