Carr family to be honored at Tibbs Tribute Dinner

The Casey Tibbs Foundation has announced honorees for this year’s Tribute Dinner. The Board of Directors has selected the following to be recognized at the Tribute Dinner in November.
Past Rodeo Great: Ralph Maynard
Rodeo Cowboy Great: Troy Brown
Rodeo Promoter: Kyle Evans
Rodeo Cowgirl Great: Lisa Lockhart
Ranch Cowboy Family: John Carr Family
Animal Athlete: Walter Mitty-owned by Connie Stenson-Price.
This year’s Tribute Dinner will be held Saturday, November 3 at the Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center.  The event helps raise funds for the Rodeo Center and also notes those who have contributed to the sport of rodeo in South Dakota. The Tribute Dinner began in 1992 with Past Rodeo Great, Rodeo Promoter and Cowboy Great categories. In 1995, Cowgirl Great and Ranch/Rodeo Family categories were added, and Rodeo Animal Athletes have only recently been added to the list of honorees.
