Election candidates thus far

March 25 was the last day to file Primary Election nominating petitions. Partisan candidates are required to file by that date and are listed on the June 3 Primary Election ballot. Those running as an Independent can still file and are directly eligible for the General Election in November. The filing deadline for Independent candidates is April 29. 

The following are candidates who have thus far submitted their petitions.

Krogman named MVP at State Amateurs

Louie Krogman, White River grad and 2013 graduate of the University of South Dakota, was named MVP of the March 1-2 State Amateur Basketball Tournament in Presho. Krogman and his Pierre All Around Graphix team won the title in the A division. 

En route to the championship, Krogman totalled 112 points, placing him 5th all-time on most points

Wood Fire Dept. Benefit a success

Tigers stroll a straightforward path to 9th straight District title
